Our Aromatic Scholars Aromatherapy Certificate program is an intensive immersion in both the art and science of aromatherapy and is designed for serious professional and holistic practitioners. Having already formed a relationship with essential oils, you will sharpen your sensory instincts and plant intelligence at the same time you practice real applications, including analysis of healing case studies and your own research project. By helping you fully integrate aromatherapy into your business or life, the program is a gateway to new possibilities.

The course provides 350 hours (inclusive of 100 hours of Anatomy and Physiology) of training and is one of the most advanced aromatherapy education programs available awarding you the ability to call yourself a “Certified Clinical Aromatherapist “ (CCA) or “Certified Aromatherapy Practitioner” (CAP) or “Certified Holistic Aromatherapy Practitioner” (CHAP).

Graduates of the Aromatic Scholars Aromatherapy Certificate Program may obtain professional membership with the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Level Two and Partial Level Three.

This is an advanced level Class. Foundations of Aromatherapy: Level One Certificate Course is a mandatory prerequisite (or a course that is equivalent to the Foundations of Aromatherapy).

Graduates are eligible to sit the Aromatherapy Registration Exam (ARC). As a rapidly growing complementary health care profession, Aromatherapy offers abundant career opportunities. Graduates of this National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy approved program, have gone on to create successful aromatherapy retail businesses, online essential oil and organic body care businesses, botanical perfume lines, therapeutic product lines, hospice/palliative care programs, chakra or yoga based lines, sustainable green businesses, web based radio shows, and consultation services.

Botanical Explorations

Advanced botanical nomenclature, botanical specificity, morphological specificity, biochemical specificity. *This module is closed to Certificate students only.

Module 3:  April 25 & 26, 2020

Essential Oil Monographs

Plants – Nature’s Chemical Powerhouses, Plants and Humans, Basics of Organic Chemistry, Introduction to Organic Chemistry,  Organic Chemistry and Essential Oils, The Chemical Families, Understanding what you are about to learn about! , Monoterpenes, Sesquiterpenes, Monoterpene Alcohols, Sesquiterpene Alcohols, Esters, Aldehydes, Ketones, Phenols, Phenylpropanoids, Oxides, Lactones and Furanocoumarins, Structure Function Charts, Experiential Project: Structure Energy Charts, Upload Structure Charts, Resources, Sprout: Ecological Pharmacology.
